Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration 2013

For the past month, the University has celebrated Hispanic Heritage month with a variety of activities. As the month ends, we’d like to take this opportunity to honor our Hispanic and Latino students now. The Student Success Center is highlighting students from ODU’s Hispanic and Latino communities with an online display. Please take a moment and view the display, and recognize the pursuits of success of our students in the past, now, and in the future.

Welcome, 2013 Preview Counselors!

Hey Undergrad Researchers!

Image5th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium
Saturday, February 9, 2013
Learning Commons @ Perry Library

The Undergraduate Research Symposium provides undergraduates with the opportunity to present the results of their research projects in a public forum. Students, prospective students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to explore the latest in undergraduate research at Old Dominion University. The symposium includes poster presentations, oral presentations, and exhibits by students from a wide range of academic disciplines. This is a great opportunity to introduce ODU students to our active undergraduate research community.

We ask faculty members to help us in organizing complete poster or presentation sessions (at least 4 student posters or presentations) to featuring undergraduate research and/or scholarship in their field of scholarship or department. Please contact the symposium organizer, Dr. Ivan K. Ash, at iash@odu.edu or 757-683-3531 with any questions about the symposium.
